Presentation: 
Original title of the project: Studium v Zahrani Within the framework of the project, a training in co-operation with Campus France, Fullbright Commission, and DAAD was held. The actors mentioned introduced their programmes and systems of admission to students (education in France, Germany, and the USA). The project aimed at raising awareness about opportunities for students to study abroad, linking the education abroad with organisations that presented their programms, knowing each other. The information was distributed via youth information workers to students from the regions, increasing the quality of information in the regional youth information centers.

Youth Participation; Education and Transfer of Knowledge in YI Work From Europe and Within Croatia

Presentation: 
The action smoothly combined different types of activities that provided target groups with necessary skills for personal and professional development. Project's overall objective: to increasw the level of active participation and integration of youth in social and political life, and to develop the civil society of Osijek-Baranja, Vukovar-Srijem and Sisak-Moslavina counties. Project's specific objective: to support and build capacities of youth by ensuring access to relevant information for the life and work of young people, through setting up info-centres for youth on local level and via promotion of their participation in non-formal education, cross-sectoral advisory teams on youth issues and transfer of experiences from the EU and within Croatia.
Project Programme
Programme: 
The program consisted of four parts: 1) development and implementation of local youth information centres in Vukovar and Sisak, through networking and transfer of knowledge and experience from Regional youth information centres in Osijek, aiming at personal development of youth through informing, counselling and non-formal education; 2) development of local cross-sectoral advisory teams, by engagement of relevant local stakeholders (representatives of municipalities, educational, health, employment institutions, etc.) aiming to provide updated information (public policies, programs, plans and activities on issues relevant for youth), enabling qualitative and professional approach in development of information centres for youth; 3) implementation and promotion of Training for Trainers for the Pool of Trainers in Croatia by transferring knowledge from the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA), aiming at building local capacities for sustainable development of youth information centres in Croatia, and creation of educational module “Capacity Development for Leaders of Info-Centres for Youth”, aiming at up-grading quality of information workers in Croatia. 4) public promotion campaign aiming to promote action plans, activities and results with specific focus on promotion of youth information centres in Osijek, Vukovar and Sisak, as well as other similar initiatives and examples of good practice. The campaign will be focused on creation of positive climate in target counties through promotion of active youth participation as carriers of society development. Duration: 12 months.

National Development Conference of Youth Information Network in Finland

Presentation: 
National Development Conference of Youth Information Network in Finland included workshops on youth information, media competence, social media, and youth participation inter alia. This project aimed at gathering youth information workers to discuss development of their work. AN annual event, implemented on a national level, was opened for all youth information workers. During the conference, youth information workers were offered high professional inputs to develop local and national work.

MISSS organised a 4-module Training Course according to ERYICA methods, materials, and learning materials for youth information workers. The organisation usually conducts such course on an annual basis.
