Director Vacancy at Eurodesk

The Eurodesk AISBL is recruiting a Director. The successful candidate will manage the Eurodesk AISBL in supporting the Eurodesk network in close co-operation with the Eurodesk President and the Executive Committee, adapting the work of the network to meet the rapidly changing information needs of young people and those who work with them.  

The successful candidate will be energetic and capable of introducing and carrying through the ideas and plans that will bring the Eurodesk information network forward. He/She will possess the vision to develop a strategy for the network. 

The successful candidate will have:

• University degree or diploma or extensive relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Network management skills
• Representational skills
• Knowledge of the European Policy area, European Youth policy and European programmes for young people
• Understanding of youth issues
• Research skills
• Knowledge of new information and communication technologies
• Fluency in English and at least another official EU language
