Guide to Safety and Quality online – Out Now

ERYICA is glad to announce the publishing of the “Guide to Safety and Quality online – a Tool Kit for Youth Information workers”.

This guide is a TOOL-kit tailor made for the needs of Youth Information workers and allows gaining greater understanding of online environments and its implications for Youth Information work.

It features theoretical content along with practical exercises for young people in the following six chapters:

• Information literacy in a digital age
• Digital lives
• Searching for quality information
• Creating quality information
• Risks and opportunities
• Online communities

The Guide to Safety and Quality online has been established in the framework of ERYICA’s Safety and Quality in Online Youth Information project (December 2009 – April 2010) together with a number of experts and professionals from our network.
