Seminar "Gender Equality in Youth Projects"

The Council of Europe has launched a call for participants for the Seminar - "Gender Equality in Youth Projects" to be held at the European Youth Centre Strasbourg on 23 - 27 June 2010. This seminar is part of the ENTER project, organised by the Directorate of Youth and Sport of the Council of Europe within its work priority on “Social Cohesion and Inclusion of Young People”.



The aim of this seminar is to share ideas and experiences on how gender equality can be promoted and mainstreamed in youth projects and develop recommendations on how to ensure gender equality in youth work with young people in disadvantaged neighbourhoods. 



The seminar will bring together 25 participants (policy makers, youth organisations representatives, researchers and young people living in multicultural disadvantaged neighbourhoods) and will be held in English and French with interpretation.



Please be informed that the application form for applying to the seminar should be filled in on-line, available at http://courses.opencontent.it. To access the online application form, applicants have to register to the platform first. 

The application form can be filled in English or French and must be completed by 16 of May 2010 at the latest.
