Three Networks Contribution
Contributing to the current debates on the new framework for the European cooperation in the youth field, three youth information networks, ERYICA, Eurodesk, and EYCA, represented by their respective presidents, Marc Boes, Reinhard Schwalbach and Wolfgang Schick, have put forward a contribution document in Paris on the 19th of January 2009.
The networks have called on the European Commission to develop national recognition of qualifications and standards for Youth Information work, and suggested it to promote the European Youth Portal as an important tool of communication channel for young people.
Furthermore, they have called on the Commission to support the Get VISAble campaign, lead by the European Youth Forum, which strongly supports removing obstacles to mobility among young people.
