Training to Trainers - Online Youth Information

In the framework of the project "Safety and Quality in Online Youth Information" ERYICA's Training Task Force developed an advanced module for training for Youth Information workers regarding the online aspects of Youth Information today. A Training for Trainers will take place in Bregenz, Austria on dates 24. - 27. March 2011.

The course is designed for Youth Information workers who are experienced by practice or have already completed a YIntro training. The training includes elements of blended learning as it consists of online and face-to-face sessions, all in all covering approximately 20 hours of training.

The five key areas that will be covered by this training course are:

• Key terms for online information literacy
• Quality issues for online Youth Information
• Producing quality online Youth Information
• Perception of online risks and opportunities
• Digital citizenship
