European Youth Information Day

The ERYICA network has widely celebrated the European Youth Information Day on April 17, 2009, with activities ranging from conferences, trainings, debates, seminars, round tables to breakfast brunches in cosy surrounding to street face to face activities.

in Czech Republic, the National Institute of Children and Youth welcomed stakeholders on a big Friday brunch;

in Austria, the Austrian Network of Youth Information Centres presented to the media a new statistical online-tool that provides everybody with an opportunity to have a live-stream on the needs and questions of young people in Austria;

in Liechtenstein, aha - Tipps und Infos für Junge Leute organised an Open Day with the theme "Going Abroad";

in Croatia, the Youth Information Centre in Osijek organised a workshop "Development for Youth in Osijek";

in Scotland, Young Scot launched the European Channel on the post school portal;

in Spain, la Xarxa INFOJOVE organised a concert with 6 rock groups in front of the sea;

in Serbia, ONO ran an open air youth information centre;

in Portugal, the Portugese Youth Information Network disseminated ERYICA leaflets and promoted the European Youth Information Charter at  national level;

in the Netherlands, Vereniging van JIP's distributed orange bracelet USB sticks with the ERYICA logo and hosted a national JIP meeting and Meet the Street – II event;

Belgium (In Petto, VIP Jeugd) and the Netherlands (Verening van JIP's) have produced and distributed a poster of the European Youth Information Charter in Dutch.

The slogan of the EYID in 2009 was "Feel Free to Ask".
