Dissemination of information on Community action

Original title of the project: Studium v Zahrani Within the framework of the project, a training in co-operation with Campus France, Fullbright Commission, and DAAD was held. The actors mentioned introduced their programmes and systems of admission to students (education in France, Germany, and the USA). The project aimed at raising awareness about opportunities for students to study abroad, linking the education abroad with organisations that presented their programms, knowing each other. The information was distributed via youth information workers to students from the regions, increasing the quality of information in the regional youth information centers.

During the European Youth Week, youngsters have been informed about the EU and topics pertinent to it. A movie about the European Union has also been dispayed by an EVS participant.

Different representatives of member and youth-related organisations have been informed about the possibilities for young people to spend some time in a foreign country. The day was a success. Young people had the chance to inform themselves about the possibilities to go abroad.

Art exhibition from primary school students was held in Mnichovice. 

The project included a Study Visit to different youth information centres, workshops, lectures inter alia.

The project aimed at raising awareness about opportunities for leisure time for youth, prevention of social-phatologic phenomena and providing publicity about these topics. During the activities, an NGO presented photos of their activities, offered activities for leisure time (non-contact and contact rugby, athletics) as an instrument of prevention. E.g., "it is better to play rugby than to take drugs".

The project aimed at raising awareness about opportunities (education and employment) at home and abroad. It provided information for students from regions via lectures (2 hour) about possibilities for youngsters abroad and at home after leaving a high school. Questions of young people: "what will be next?"; "what can I do and how?" wre answered. Students also received printed publications (study abroad, working abroad, guide for school leavers in the world of employment and education in the Czech Republic and abroad). The project took place in Euro centre in Plzen.

The regional youth information centre in Rijeka, Croatia, was appointed to carry out the process of creating local programme for youth for the City of Rijeka, as an independent organisation working with youth and with various institutions and NGOs working with youth. After the initial meeting with 8 departments of the City of Rijeka, 7 expert councils were formed from representatives of various stakeholders in the society, gathered around certain theme of programme. In addition, the NGO's Expert Council was also formed. Within the span of 2 months' time, 7 workshops were held, and expert councils together with representatives of institutions, NGOs, student councils, student union and youth sections of political parties made the first draft. After that, a discussion forum was held on Internet for 14 days, and finally the public debate took place in the City Hall of Rijeka. The coordination of this process was pronounced the best practice in creating public documents in Croatia. The project outcomes are: The local programme for youth was adopted by the local government; The youth was included in all the phases of the process

The project aimed at increasing youth participation, strengthening the presence of young artists, providing publicity about it, providing space for self fulfillment. As a result, handmade t-shirts with zodiac motives were displaed. The project took place in the National Youth Information Centre, Prague.

The project lasted 2 + 2 days, it was a "face to face" training followed by 9 weeks of e-learning about the youth information work.
