2nd YIntro Training Launched in Croatia

The second training in the YIntro - Stepping into Youth Information module starts today in Pirovac, Croatia. The event goes on from 18.- 26.6. and is hosted by our Croatian member PRONI - Centre for Social Education co-founder of the Association of Youth Information Centers in Croatia. Other attending countries are Slovenia, Turkey and Luxembourg.

The YIntro course will be conducted by two experienced ERYICA trainers. During the training, the participants will tackle the four areas of the YIntro module: Background and Principles of Youth Information, Youth Information in Practice, The Art of Working with Young People in a Youth Information Setting and Continuous Development of Youth Information work.

The activities are part of the project "And ... Action!", which is funded with support from the European Commission, through the programme Youth in Action, Sub-Action 4.3 - Training and networking of those active in youth work and youth organisations.

The YIntro - Stepping into Youth Information course is meant for beginners in the Youth Information field. It has been designed together with the ERYICA Training Task Force. The YIntro is a revised manual for ERYICA's training activities to prepare Youth Information workers to deal with new required skills for their work.
