Presentation: 
The youth information centre "Styria" organised a project “allRIGHT?” (pocket lawyer), a publication informing young people about their rights and duties. The pocket lawyer was widely distributed in Styria (in co-operation with the Advocacy for Children and Youth) in 4 languages: German, English, Turkish and Croatian. Youth Mobility

Presentation: 
The youth information centre in Salzburg organised an information day about youth mobility, highlighting such programmes as Au Pair, EVS, Work Camps. Five organisations and youngsters experienced in youth mobility presented their programmes. The team of the youth information centre provided information about youth mobility in general, and in particular. The EVS volunteers prepared a number of international dishes.

The youth information centre in Salzburg has updated and published the following publications in 2008: •Wohn:t:raum (information for young people on housing) • Salzburg for Everyone (tourist information for youngsters on Salzburg with a special focus on the European Football Championship 2008) Redesign of publications and public file systems of the centre, more outreach activities (information visits to schools, local events) have also been planned within the framework of the project.

The youth information centre in Salzburg organised a Youth Mile European Football Championship in 2008 "BallArt”: a youth mile have been organised in front of the headquarters offering young people a special programme during 3 days, during which matches took place in the city of Salzburg. There were band performances, workshops, raffles. 15 young EVS-volunteers from different European countries have been involved in the project.

Three days, during which the activity took place, had three different programmes. Day 1. “BallArt” – different activities around football Day 2. “KunstArt” – graffiti- & breakdance workshop Day 3. “FeierArt” – a cocktail bar (nonalcoholic), a number of international dishes prepared by EVS volunteers; During all of the days, young newcomer bands & live TV coverage were following the event.

Youth information centres of Austria organised 3 meetings within the framework of their national and regional co-operation: April 15 – 17, 2008, Baden bei Wien. A national conference of youth information centres and a General Assembly of the national association were held; July 2008. A summer retreat of youth information centres was held. During the retreat, trends, visions, and upcoming challenges were discussed. November 2008. An autumn-conference of youth information centres in Vienna was held. During the conference, participants discussed the programme for 2009, presented their projects and outcomes.

The main topics of the modules were History Developments and trends in the youth information work in Austria and in Europe Project management Information management Providing and dissemination of information to youngsters Project presentation Evaluation Participants created a joint project with colleagues from other youth information centres, thus ensuring an extra value in contributing to building up a national network in Austria.

In 2009-2010, the website will be profoundly updated and edited.
