In the framework of the ERYICA project titled "JIMMY – Youth Information Mediator", the Training Task Force developed a training module for youth workers on the provision of youth information. The first Training to Trainers on this new module will take place in Vicenza, Italy, on the dates of 18 - 21 December 2011.

The Youth Board of Cyprus, ERYICA Member Organisation and the Cypriot National Agency of the Youth in Action Programme is organising an international “Yintro -Stepping Into Youth Information” training course for youth information workers. The event will take place close to Larnaca, Cyprus on the dates of 27 November - 3 December 2011. Participants will arrive from Cyprus, Malta, Belarus, Lithuania, Montenegro, Portugal and Macedonia.

The 9th Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Youth will take place in St. Petersburg (Russian Federation) in September 2012. Main theme of the conference will be “Young people’s access to rights: development of innovative youth policies”.
The Joint Coordinating Committee managing the partnership between the Council of Europe and ERYICA decided to support a campaign on “Youths’ Right to Information”, to be developed in 2012 and to be prepared in the last quarter of 2011.

The Council of Europe invites all youth leaders working in conflict-affected communities to apply to take part in the training of future youth ambassadors for peace. The training is scheduled to take place on dates 19. - 26. June 2011 in the European Youth Centre Budapest, Hungary.

ERYICA is celebrating its 25th anniversary and for this special occasion we will organise a conference on the "History of Youth Information".
This conference will gather prominent figures from the field of Youth Information who will share with us their memories and experiences throughout their past in the field.
In addition, a number of keynote speakers will provide us with insights into Youth culture and its development and signpost important future steps for Youth Information work.

In the framework of the project "Safety and Quality in Online Youth Information" ERYICA's Training Task Force developed an advanced module for training for Youth Information workers regarding the online aspects of Youth Information today. The Council of Europe - Directorate of Youth and Sport has launched a call for participants for a Training Course for Facilitators involved in non-formal education with young people. The training will take place in the European Youth Centre in Budapest, Hungary on 21 - 29 March, 2011.
