Call for participants: Enter! Training for Youth Workers

The call for participants for the new course Enter! Training for Youth Workers: Empowering youth workers to counter discrimination, exclusion and violence in cooperation with local authorities, is now open.

The course supports the implementation of the Recommendation CM/Rec(2015)3 on access of young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods to social rights, adopted by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in 2015. The long-term training course will support 30 youth workers to advance the implementation of the Enter! Recommendation through projects in partnership with local authorities within a European and intercultural context. The course plays a central role in the strategy for implementation of the Recommendation adopted by the CMJ.

The long-term training course has 2 residential seminars, online learning, project development and mentoring as its key components. The first e-learning module will start at the end of April and the Initial seminar will be held from 21 to 29 May 2017 in the European Youth Centre Budapest.

The course is open for youth workers and social workers working directly with young people.  All interested candidates are invited to apply online.  The application must be submitted by 3 April 2017, at noon, Central European Time. For more information please consult the attached Call for participants to the course.
