Let’s celebrate the seventh European Youth Information Day (EYID) and ERYICA’s birthday on 17 April!
The upcoming EYID aims to enhance the visibility of youth information and to raise awareness about the information needs of young people and those organisations working every day to match these needs. The ERYICA Member Organisations are planning various events to celebrate this date, which makes the EYID more diverse and interesting.
The activities organised on the EYID in the past few years were connected with various themes. You certainly remember the successful 2014 campaign "Who Nose?" - and the vibrant answer "Youth Information Nose it Better". In 2013, the EYID coincided with the launch of the "Information Right Now!" campaign. Let’s cherish and promote youth information work again all over Europe in 2015!
This year's theme is : “Fifteen shades of youth information” The campaign aims to gather answers to the question “what does youth information mean to you?” from young people, youth information workers and our stakeholders in the form of short videos posted on the official EYID Facebook page.
After being selected by our jury, the best 15 videos will be compiled in a short movie entitled “Fifteen shades of youth information”. The result will be screened at the closing of the General Assembly of ERYICA in Luxembourg (19 April) and at the 2nd European Youth Work Convention that will take place in Brussels on 27-30 April.
ERYICA wishes all participants success and lots of fun for their activities!
