Toolkit on Pro-Environmental Youth Engagement

UNEP, the United Nations Environment Programme, launched a toolkit aiming to empower and inform youth, students and young adults living in Europe on how to engage and lead pro-environmental change.

The Toolkit on Pro-Environmental Youth Engagement was developed by youth for youth, and it offers practical advice on how to engage in eco-friendly behaviour on four different levels: the individual, local, national, and international levels, as well as the level of (social-media) communication.

This toolkit is the result of the work of 16 young activists who frequently encountered the desire of their peers to collaborate on environmental issues but did not know exactly how to go about it. They aim to transfer all their acquired expertise and insights so that they can be useful to other young people.
