ERYICA exists, and acts, through its member organisations. Through them, and via the local and regional information centres and services that belong to their national networks, the information that they offer on a wide range of topics reaches millions of young people each year. The only ERYICA entity, which is not a part of one of its member organisations, is its secretariat.
ERYICA therefore does not have a membership of individuals, but of member organisations (national, where possible) whose role is to provide information to young people or to co-ordinate and support the local and regional bodies that inform young people, in accordance with the principles of the European Youth Information Charter.
Each organisation admitted as a Member of ERYICA pays an annual membership fee to the Agency. At present, the minimum national membership fee (except for designated small countries) is 4200 Euros.
The status of Co-operating Organisation will be given by the Governing Board to organisations which are involved in youth information work, on the basis of a written request from the organisation concerned, for an initial a period of three years, with a view to evolving into membership of the Agency or into the status of Affiliated Organisation, and it will be reviewed at the end of that period.
