Campaign „Airplane mode“

called to rest from digital devices in Estonia

Estonia celebrated the Youth Work Week in November 2021. This year the week was focused on mental health and digitalisation. The campaign ¨Airplane mode“ ran during the Week with the aim of encouraging taking a rest from digital devices for at least 15 minutes.

The campaign lasted seven days and taking part was very simple - just turning the smartphone into flight mode and doing joyful activities instead, such as training, reading, walking or handcraft.

The campaign was really successful! Many radio and television channels talked about it and highlighted the importance of taking a break from digital devices to support individual mental health.
