Campaign and training on security and privacy on the internet
In October 2021, during the European Cybersecurity Month, the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia (Spain) launched the campaign 'Take control of who you are on the Internet'
The campaign aimed to empower families and young people on the importance of ensuring privacy in your digital life. In addition, an online training of trainers for professionals from Youth Information Centres and Youth Offices of Catalonia, was organised to support the action.
The completion of the training certified them as Digital Ambassadors, being able to train other youth information professionals and young people on security and privacy on the Internet.
The resource 'Digital Kit' was created on the E-Joventut website to support the action. It includes materials and resources for the dissemination of content on privacy and quality of information on the Internet.
More than 40 professionals from the youth information network are now certified Digital Ambassadors and will be active agents of the cybersecurity culture, organising courses, workshops and seminars in 2022.
