Demystifying AI: The Artificial Intelligence Toolkit
The Cyprus Youth Board connected young people and youth workers with the most exciting technology of our time: Artificial Intelligence!
Through a new series of workshops titled "Demystifying AI: The Artificial Intelligence Toolkit," participants were trained on how to properly use basic AI tools and discovered how these can be applied in their daily lives and work.
The workshops explored where and how AI capabilities can be leveraged, whether you’re looking for solutions for your project or simply want to discover new ways to make your daily routine easier and more productive. Participants were also trained to identify problems that can be solved with AI and explored how to approach them effectively.
The key topics of the workshop included:
What is Artificial Intelligence? A brief history and introduction to the basic principles of AI, with a focus on how it has evolved and where it is used today.
When and how to use Artificial Intelligence in everyday life and work? Understanding when an AI tool is the right approach.
AI Tools and how to choose them. Practical cases where AI tools can offer solutions to everyday needs. Examples from different fields such as data analysis, task automation, creativity, and decision-making.
Ethical and social implications: A discussion on the ethical issues arising from the use of AI and how we can address these challenges responsibly.
The future of AI: Emerging trends and innovations in Artificial Intelligence and how they will impact the coming decades.
