Greening publication FI - Last Koordinatti “participation”

The ‘Greening Youth Information Services guide was created in collaboration with Eurodesk and examines the essential role of youth information work in the context of the climate emergency. It offers practical advice and examples of best practices for creating and delivering environmentally friendly youth information services. Sadly, the Finnish translation is Koordinaatti's last contribution to ERYICA, as the organisation was closed down at the end of March.

Youth information services are crucial in educating and mobilising young people around pressing issues such as climate change. By equipping youth workers and young people with the proper knowledge and resources, we empower them to take meaningful action in their communities. We are confident that this guide will to promote greener and more sustainable youth information services across Finland and beyond.

Koordinaatti has played a key role in developing and disseminating youth information and counselling across Europe. Their meticulous work translating this guide ensures Finnish-speaking youth workers and organisations can access these vital resources. As we celebrate this launch, we also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the team at Koordinaatti. Their dedication and contributions have been a source of inspiration for youth information services throughout Europe in the last decades. As this is the last ERYICA publication they will translate, we wish the Koordinaatti team all the best in their future ambitions.
