YODEC Project: Youth Ambassadors shaping the future of EU Cohesion Policy
FNT is thrilled to share the latest updates from the YODEC Project!
YODEC (Youth Voices of the Danube Empowering Local Champions for European Cohesion) is empowering young people from the Danube Region to influence the next EU Cohesion Policy (2028-2034). Through this project, youth ambassadors are being trained to inform their peers about EU policies, gather feedback, and advocate for the needs of young people at the European level.
So far, they have conducted two successful online training sessions for their Youth Ambassadors, equipping them with the skills to facilitate consultations and lead discussions. The response has been incredible: 185 young people have registered to engage with the project and contribute to shaping the future of Europe!
In the upcoming months, YODEC Ambassadors will be making an impact by organising workshops, gathering insights from their communities, and running social media campaigns to raise awareness about EU Cohesion Policy. This project is not only about policy—it’s about empowering young voices and building a stronger, more connected Europe.
You can learn more about YODEC on the project’s website.
