YouthInfoQuest
YouthInfoQuest explores how young people across Europe seek, access, and evaluate information. Based on 1,304 responses collected in 11 languages, the study identifies key information needs, preferred channels, and trusted sources. It highlights the importance of providing reliable information on crucial topics while recognising the growing role of digital platforms in young people’s information-seeking habits.
The study also examines the challenges young people face, such as misinformation, lack of reliable sources, and information overload. It underscores the need for youth information services to offer clear, accessible, and trustworthy content tailored to young people’s needs, ensuring they can make informed decisions in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
