European Youth Information Quality Label awarded to new organisations

The European Youth Information Quality Label, which guides young people through the information overload and tells them that a particular piece of information is verified, true and unbiased, has been awarded to two new organisations: Aġenzija Żgħażagħ (Malta) and Young Scot (UK). The two ERYICA Members proved in a more than reassuring manner that they put the principles of the European Youth Information Charter into practice and provide high quality, continuously improving services to young people. With this decision, they joined the Bundesnetzwerk Österreichische Jungedinfos (Austria) and Youth Work Ireland, who obtained the Label in the pilot phase. ERYICA congratulates the organisations and wishes them the continuation of their dedicated service to their local young people.

The Quality Label is available for all youth information providers in the member states of the Council of Europe. The awarding of the Label operates with two deadlines annually, 30 April and 31 October. Further information can be found on the ERYICA website.

The Label is managed by a Task Force, which is made up of experts in youth information work and quality assurance, as well as young people.

The Quality Label was developed in the framework of the partnership agreement between the Council of Europe and ERYICA.
