European Academy on Youth Work

The 2nd European Academy on Youth Work took place between 31 May - 3 June 2022 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Around 150 stakeholders in European youth work gathered to reflect and discuss what was needed to initiate, support and sustain innovation in the field in response to current needs and developments. The 2nd Academy was also a space to network and to get to know and learn from diverse, innovative practices in youth work, youth policy and research.

ERYICA was at the event, and together with Eurodesk, we presented the YouthInfoComp framework in a workshop. Listed as an innovative practice, the first European level competence framework for youth information workers also allowed the participants to reflect on a standardised or larger scale approach for their development needs. The pre-report of the Conference also highlighted the YouthInfoComp framework as a good practice example in innovation. You can download the report HERE.

The event was jointly organised by 12 National Agencies for Erasmus+: Youth in Action and the European Solidarity Corps, as well as SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres. More info: https://www.eayw.net/
