Save the Date for ERYICA’s 36th General Assembly in Chișinău, Moldova!

We are thrilled to announce that the 36th General Assembly of ERYICA will take place from 19 to 21 May 2025, hosted by the Chișinău Municipal Youth Center in Chișinău, Moldova.

This will be a Big General Assembly, where elections for the Presidency and the Governing Board will take place. Over 100 participants are expected to take part, including members, representatives from our stakeholder organisations and speakers.

The Chișinău Municipal Youth Center, a newly-joined ERYICA member since 2024, is hosting its very first General Assembly, following in the footsteps of FNT in 2023. We are excited to see them take on this significant role within our network. This General Assembly will also offer a valuable opportunity to deepen our understanding of youth information work in a non-EU country. Moldova has been a candidate for EU membership since 2022, with accession negotiations officially launched in June 2024.

The Chișinău Municipal Youth Center, has been a key player in youth work in the region. Established in 2019 following a municipal survey, the Center addresses a critical need for services for young people in Chișinău. Since 2022, it has expanded to all five sectors of the municipality, providing a safe space for youth, volunteering opportunities, and personal growth activities. The Center has a strong focus on youth information and is committed to reaching young people in various ways, from a mobile app to outreach campaigns in educational institutions.

We are particularly excited about the chance to explore the unique youth information landscape in Moldova. Stay tuned for more updates on the General Assembly in the coming months. We look forward to meeting all ERYICA members and partners in Chișinău for an inspiring and productive gathering!
