Inspiring Paths: SIEP fairs help young people plan their future in Belgium

Since the end of January 2025, the "STUDIES-TRAINING-CAREERS" and "ITINÉRAIRES SECONDAIRES" fairs, organised by SIEP – the Information Service on Studies and Professions – have been in full swing.

Held in major cities across the French-speaking Community of Belgium, these free events are ideal opportunities for young people to meet professionals from the world of education (secondary education, higher education, colleges, universities), training and employment, as well as numerous youth organisations, international exchange programs, humanitarian projects, and various professional sectors (construction, real estate, food industry, aeronautics, public service, healthcare, sports, etc.).  

These events also serve as moments of reflection for young people regarding their projects and professional future, offering spaces conducive to discussions, career exploration through various activities, and hands-on demonstrations.  

By the time you read these lines, the fairs organised by SIEP will have welcomed no fewer than 40,000 young visitors, with the upcoming fair set to take place in Mons on March 28 and 29 and another in Brussels in November of this year.
