Summer school holiday program “#sisukasvaheaeg“

highlighted important topics via the web

The national-level programme focused this time on health issues - mental, physical, and social health. The programme was co-organised with one of Estonia's largest media channels and reached a significant number of young people via web-based actions from the beginning of July up to August 2021.

The program offered youth-friendly information via different channels, from social media posts and videos to newspaper articles. Various forms of information materials were created, which were gathered together into a special landing page. The programme was held together with experts, youth, and social media influencers.

The programme ended in August with the newspaper “Youth Express“, which was part of one of the most readable newspapers in Estonia as a special edition. In total, 26,019 copies were printed.

Cooperation with the public media is an excellent opportunity to highlight youth' topics and youth information. It is essential to provide reliable and youth-friendly information via public media, as it is a good way to get the public's attention to the youth information channels.
