Welcome onboard DG Juventud Murcia!
The General Directorate of Youth of the Autonomous Community of Murcia was born with the constitution of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia in 1982, as the public body responsible for the Services and Policies of Youth in the Region of Murcia.
The General Directorate of Youth of the Region of Murcia is a regional public administration composed of 74 youth information services.
The Regional Youth Information and Documentation Center is the Department that assumes the coordination of the centres and youth information points (public and private) present in the different municipalities.
The DG of Murcia manages, among other matters:
The regulation of the conditions for the recognition and operation of youth information services.
Coordinates the organisation of the services.
Disseminate youth information in a systematic and coordinated manner, ensuring that it is reliable, objective and understandable for youth.
Promotes the creation of youth information services to improve the access of young people to relevant resources ensuring their integration in the information society.
The Region of Murcia is already involved in the ERYICA network, supporting the organisation of the Iberian-Insular Youth Ambassadors training that will take place in June in Spain, which will gather more than 250 youth ambassadors from Portugal and Spain.
