After several years of cooperation between the Youth Council and other municipal areas, Tres Cantos has been recognised by UNICEF as a Child-Friendly City.

From 3 to 5 October 2023, ERYICA participated in the "All Together for European Elections 2024" event organised by the European Parliament in Brussels. More than 160 organisations from all over Europe were present in this interactive face-to-face event to discuss their ideas to enhance participation in the next EU Elections.

The "Up To YOU(th)" Festival returned for the 7th time on Saturday, 23 September at 17:00, at the Acropolis Park in Nicosia, Cyprus. They invited the public to a celebration of youth, with young people themselves as the protagonists, sending a strong message that today and tomorrow are in the hands of the younger generation.

Youth Work Ireland recently published a new resource as part of the Proud Spaces project. Skills Summary is a free, online tool that measures the skills young people gain through participating in youth work or other forms of non-formal education. It can be used as a self-assessment and self-reflection tool for young people and as a measurement tool for organisations.
