First YIntro in Valencia!
Last March, the first edition of ERYICA’s YIntro course - Stepping into youth information, took place at the Valencian youth network Xarxa Jove. The course was organised by IVAJ (Valencian Youth Institute) and was facilitated by three professionals from the Valencian region trained in the first ToT - ERYICA’s Training of trainers in 2020.
ERYICA 33 GA- Thanks for taking part!
The 33rd General Assembly of ERYICA took place in Barcelona last month, from 11 to 13 May 2022, with the attendance of 84 participants from 20 European countries. The National Youth Emancipation Network in Catalonia is delighted with the results, the atmosphere and the opportunity to regain the presence of these spaces for exchange and growth of the Network.

At a time when virtual communication through screens has gained so much presence in our lives, this project seeks to raise awareness and value key aspects of face-to-face contact to experience through all our senses, favouring communication with our interlocutor.
Multilingual youth information in Estonia
Since May 2022, the Estonian youth information service Teeviit has provided information to young people in four different languages. The action aims to ensure that young people whose mother tongue is not Estonian can access quality and reliable information, including war refugees, international students, local minorities, and visitors.
Safety campaign provided info and interesting activities all over Estonia
The campaign aimed to inform and illustrate the importance of safety helmets through activities. The campaign was held during the spring school break, which was perfect timing to address the issue with young people as the weather was warm enough to ride around on a bike or scooter.

New forms of sexual abuse: what Youth Information workers can do (Copy)
This webinar, conducted in collaboration with the Council of Europe, aims to raise awareness on different forms of sexual violence, harassment, grooming, and abuse affecting young people. It will be an opportunity to establish an open dialogue on their impact on young people, the position of youth information and counselling services, and what kind of actions and support can be provided to young people in need.
One step further for the recognition of youth information workers
After a couple of years of joint advocacy with Eurodesk, "youth information worker" was officially included as an occupation in ESCO, the European skills/competencies, qualifications and occupations dictionary, in January 2022.
The Youth Congress of Catalonia in the European Year of Youth
The Youth Congress of Catalonia will be held on 17-19 March 2022. It is conceived as a platform that brings together and represents youth associations and comprises nearly one hundred organisations and federations.

A general overview of 2021 for the Youth Information Centres in Cyprus
